Case in point: a Pakistani ACCA student succeeded in topping the worldwide scoreboards. Zara Naeem Dar, hailing from the city of Lahore, is now making headlines and generating buzz for her accomplishment and this honor is not lightly given at all.

The ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accounts) is considered the most esteemed institution in the field of global accounting. It is internationally recognized as a leading figure in the world of accounting, and its graduates are known for excelling in their various chosen fields. In fact, this year alone saw over 597000 students across 179 nations, a testament to the sheer scale of Zara Naeem Dar’s achievement.

The ACCA formally announced her meritorious accomplishment over their official social media outlets. They further specified that Zara topped the competition in the Financial Reporting Examinations, and praised and congratulated her, as they declared her the global prizewinner.

The matter wasn’t merely discussed in chartered accountant circles only. Online, forums and, social media grew buzzing with widespread excitement at the news, given the notorious difficulty level of the exams and its stringent criteria of passing (much less getting the highest grade in the world). ACCA Pakistan went as far as to compliment and recognize the entire nation of Pakistan as one that often produced highly competent students. Meanwhile, even country’s highest official source commended her for her laudable exam scores. In an official Tweet from the Government of Pakistan’s official account, high praise was given to Zara Naeem Dar. Online comments and written pieces about the girl’s achievement also contain acclaim and further messages of support and hearty congratulations.

Zara herself comes from a much mellower, very earnest background. She credits her beloved father as her chief inspiration, and expressed her gratitude for his encouragement and support, especially when battling cultural obstacles as a girl fulfilling her dreams.
